2008 Youth Summer Camp Program . . .

The Long Island Golf Academy summer program offers youth golf instruction, practice and play activities designed to give junior golfers the necessary knowledge and experience to become lifelong golfers while nurturing their enjoyment of the sport itself. Improving the playing ability of the junior golfer is the primary objective of our golf instructors.

In addition, the Long Island Golf Academy stresses the concept of total youth development—social, physical, emotional and mental—throughout the program. The Youth Golf Summer Camp program is held at Eisenhower Park. Click here to learn more about our youth golf program and golf instructors.

  Announcements:
Congratulations to Jim Kelly of Chaminade HS for finishing in the Top Ten in the New York State Federation High School Golf Tournament. It took place on June 13 at The Carvel Country Club in Pine Plains, NY and open to the top high school golfers in the state. Jim is a long time participant in Mike Wade's Long Island Golf Academy programs. Jim scored a 78, just five strokes from the leader. Great accomplishment and we are all very proud of Jim.

We would like to congratulate 4 of Mike Wade's students for qualifying for the New York State Championships, representing Nassau County. They were 4 of the 9 students representing Nassau County.

The four students are:
Luke Walter
